NPN Documentation and Storytelling Fund

I am happy to announce that Conjunto Blues has been awarded NPN's Documentation and Storytelling Fund to support ongoing development, touring, and overall capacity building as the show continues to reach new audiences around the country. Over the course of the next year and through the Spring and Fall of 2022, Conjunto Blues will be on the road beginning with the San Diego Repertory Theater's New Latinx Play Festival with a screening and live performance on September 3rd at SDSU Aztec Theater. Continuing along the California West Coast, screenings are being planned for Bay Area and Central Valley audiences through the month of September with a final musial performance by the Conjunto Blues Band in Los Angeles, CA on October 3rd. Future tours are expected for the Midwest and East Coast as well as the development of an online digital community archive.
